WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY
There are many rules, regulations and guidelines to follow in any business and ours is no exception. Below is a list of what Groundfloor QLD uses when taking on any project (with exception to type of works some tasks vary).
Depending on the type of works we carry out on a jobsite depends on which manuals are followed by. The list below includes all manuals we can possibly use on any jobsite taken from workplace health and safety Queensland web:
- Steel Construction Advisory Standard 2004
- Tilt-up and Pre-cast Construction Industry Code of Practice
- Concrete Cutting and Drilling Industry Guide 2001
- Concrete Pumping Code of Practice 2005 (with attached Concrete Pumping Safety Guide)
- Formwork Code of Practice 2006
With the help of Mr. Darryl Rasmussen (Workplace Health and Safety Consultant) a manual was designed to cover all our needs on a jobsite. Below is a list of what you will find in a manual we hand out when work commences with Groundfloor (QLD) Pty Ltd

Element Three (Work Method Statements - In the instance of being a Tilt-Panel project):

- Australian Standard Booklet containing information on Tilt-up concrete and Pre-cast concrete elements for use in Buildings with a separate part for Guide to Design, Casting and Erection of Tilt-up panels.
- Or any other Australian Standard that may apply at time of construction or depending on types of work completed.
NB: Other projects depending on the works use various methods for workplace health and safety, this example is provided based on a tilt panel constructed project. The procedure of the manual stays the same at all times, and only varies in sections for the actual works we complete.
