Since then the company he has formed has progressed into completing more than just cottage work. Peter is renowned for his talents in concrete, and has pursued major concrete works in Bundaberg and surrounding areas. Groundfloor now completes all commercial industrial and civil works.

North Bundaberg IGA Shopping Centre

A major company decided that Bundaberg needed to expand shopping facilities within the region; the ever-developing North Bundaberg was the way to go. Groundfloor won the major project and took on the concrete placement and finishing side of the project which included tilt panel construction, placement of footings and in-ground works, above-ground works and the external works.

This project for us included approximately 7000sq metres of concrete construction, thus making this a highlight and turning point for the company’s direction in services, making us leaders in commercial construction.
